Boat Seat

Kit out your boat with Kaiser Boating Australia's range of marine-grade boat seats, including luxury recliner captains chairs, flip-up bolster helm seats and folding seats for smaller boats. Each seat is built from durable marine vinyl designed to handle sun, saltwater and everyday use on the water.

Before ordering, check your boat's available mounting space and whether you need a pedestal or swivel/clamp mount as well — most seats are sold separately from their base. Our seat pedestal and seat swivel & clamp ranges cover compatible mounting hardware.

Materials and warranty

Kaiser Boating seats use 28oz marine-grade vinyl designed to resist UV, saltwater and mildew, paired with corrosion-resistant hardware. Recliner models use solid aluminium-framed armrests, while folding seats use a high-impact moulded plastic frame.

Most seats carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturer's defects. The warranty doesn't cover weather soiling, stains from environmental pollution or standing water, cuts from sharp objects, neglect, accident or misuse. In-stock items dispatch within 2 business days from our Melbourne warehouse.

Boat seat FAQs

What type of boat seat should I choose?

Boat seats come in recliner, helm and folding styles — choose based on your boat's mounting space, how you sit at the helm, and comfort preferences. Check the individual product page for armrest style and dimensions.

What material are Kaiser Boating boat seats made from?

Most seats use 28oz marine-grade vinyl designed to resist UV, saltwater and mildew. Frame materials vary — check the individual listing for moulded plastic or aluminium frame details.

Are boat seats waterproof?

Marine-grade vinyl is water-resistant and built for the outdoors, but prolonged standing water or weather exposure isn't covered under warranty. Wipe seats dry after use where possible.

Do I need a separate pedestal or mount?

Most boat seats are sold without a pedestal or swivel mount — pair your seat with a compatible pedestal or swivel/clamp from our boating accessories range, and confirm the base plate pattern matches.

How do I clean and care for a marine vinyl boat seat?

Rinse with fresh water after use, clean with mild soap, and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Covering or storing seats when not in use helps protect against sun and weather damage.
