Product Description
Standard boat covers fade, crack and lose their water resistance after a season or two in the Australian sun. The DuraPoly Runabout Cover is built tougher — solution-dyed fabric, sealed seams, and highway-rated trailering to back it up.
- Premium 600D Solution-Dyed Oxford Polyester: Colour is dyed into the fabric fibres, not coated on top — so it resists fading far better than standard covers exposed to harsh Australian UV.
- 1500mm Water Column Rating + Waterproof Seam Strips: Keeps your runabout dry in heavy rain and coastal conditions. Built-in air vents prevent condensation and mould under the cover during long-term storage.
- Trailerable at Highway Speed: Reinforced sewn-in rope, rot-proof double-stitched seams, and quick-release heavy-duty straps keep the cover locked down on the road — unlike standard covers rated for short, low-speed trips only.
Why Upgrade to DuraPoly?
The Premium DuraPoly range is designed for boat owners who want stronger long-term protection than a standard cover. Solution-dyed fabric helps improve colour fastness, while the heavier-duty construction is built to handle harsh sun, weather exposure and regular use.

Actual Fabric Measurement
While using the centreline length and widest beam is a good starting point for choosing the right cover size, we also recommend cross-checking the actual fabric length and width required to ensure you select the correct fit.

- Fabric Length - Measure along the length of your boat, over the top of any boat fittings e.g. bow rails, handrails, cabin, windscreens etc. to the point on the hull where the cover's hem will finish.
- Fabric Width - Measure across the widest point of your boat, over the top of any boat fittings e.g. bow rails, handrails, cabin, windscreens etc. to the point on the hull where the cover's hem will finish.
| Cover Size | Fabric Length | Fabric Width |
| 3.6-4.2m 12-14ft | 468cm | 240cm |
| 4.2-4.8m 14-16ft | 528cm | 300cm |
| 4.8-5.6m 16-18.5ft | 636cm | 332cm |
| 5.2-5.8m 17-19ft | 645cm | 344cm |
| 6.1-6.7m 20-22ft | 716cm | 355cm |
| 6.7-7.3m 22-24ft | 796cm | 368cm |
Important care & warranty notes:
Protect sharp and protruding fittings (cleats, anchors, etc.) by adding padding where the cover contacts them; damage from rubbing against sharp or raised hardware is not covered under warranty.
For long-distance towing, use extra straps (not included) over the top and keep tension even; damage caused by improper or loose strapping during trailering is also not covered under warranty.
