Warranties

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Most of our goods come with a 12 month manufacturer's warranty against defects. Within 12 months of purchase date, you are entitled to a refund or exchange if an item has a MAJOR problem. This is when the item:

  • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it.
  • Is unsafe.
  • Is significantly different from the sample or description.
  • Doesn't do what we said it wouldn't or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

If the problem is NOT MAJOR, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you are entitled to a refund or replacement.

When you are NOT entitled to a refund or exchange

You are not entitled to a refund or exchange if you:

  • Changed your mind and no longer want the product
  • Ordered the wrong product
  • Found the product cheaper elsewhere
  • Found a better product elsewhere
  • Were aware of the relevant fault before buying the product (such as if the fault was written on the product's tag, or for online purchases, indicated in any photos or descriptions of the item online)
  • Damaged the product due to misuse, accident or neglect (such as if the cover is ripped by sharp corner)
  • Used the product for a long time and the problem is as a result of usual wear and tear.

Additional Warranty Information for boat covers:

Warranty Coverage

Your boat cover is protected by a 12‑month limited warranty (24 months for Durapoly range covers) from the date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers defects in:

  • Materials – including the 600D Oxford polyester fabric and waterproof coating

  • Workmanship – such as stitching, seams, and construction flaws

  • Hardware and accessories – including straps, buckles, and tie‑down components that fail under normal use

If a covered issue occurs, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or provide replacement parts for the affected area.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Because boat covers are exposed to outdoor conditions and varying environments, the warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Improper installation, incorrect sizing, or failure to secure the cover as instructed

  • Abrasion or friction damage, including tearing caused by contact with sharp edges, cleats, corners, or protruding hardware

  • Environmental exposure, including UV fading, fabric degradation, or damage caused by prolonged sun, wind, rain, or snow

  • Storm‑related or severe weather damage, including tearing caused by high winds or extreme conditions

  • Water pooling, mold, or mildew resulting from storing the cover while damp or allowing standing water to accumulate

  • Accidental damage, including cuts, punctures, burns, or impact damage

  • Use of harsh chemicals, solvents, or cleaners that compromise the fabric or coating

  • Normal wear and tear, including gradual fading, softening, or loss of water repellency over time

  • Alterations or repairs performed by unauthorised parties

No warranty is provided for products used for commercial, rental, or otherwise non‑personal purposes unless explicitly stated in writing.

Limitations

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product or defective parts. It does not cover incidental or consequential losses, including damage to boats, equipment, or personal property.

How to find the right size bimini top?

The Ultra Low Profile Series 3 Bow Bimini Top has a length of 180 cm and a height of 45 cm. The key measurement you’ll need is the mounting width.

To find this, locate the midpoint of the area you want the bimini top to cover, then measure the distance between the gunwales at that point.

    FAQs

Measure the distance between the two main mounting points on your boat’s gunwales. This measurement determines the mounting width you need. For example, if the distance is 160cm, choose the 1.5m - 1.7m size.
The width range refers to the mounting width of your boat, not the fabric width. Each Bimini Top is designed to fit boats within that mounting-width range.
No. The canopy length is measured along the fabric. Because the frame has an arc, the straight-line distance from front to back will be shorter than the listed canopy length.
It fits many small to medium boats, but compatibility depends on your available mounting width, mounting surface, and desired canopy height. Always measure your boat before ordering.
Yes, it is commonly used on aluminium boats and tinnies, provided the mounting width and mounting points are suitable.
The canopy is made from 600D marine-grade Polyester Oxford fabric with a double polyurethane coating for water resistance and UV protection.
Yes. The frame is made from anodised aluminium, which is lightweight and offers good corrosion resistance in marine environments.
Yes. The fittings are made from heavy-duty nylon and stainless steel, designed for boating conditions.
The fabric is water-resistant and designed to help protect against spray and light rain. Like most marine canopy fabric, it is not intended to be a fully sealed waterproof shelter in heavy weather.
Yes. The coated canopy fabric helps reduce direct sun exposure and creates a shaded area for a more comfortable day on the water.
Rinse with fresh water and clean with mild soap when needed. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive brushes, as these may damage the coating or fabric.
Yes. Rinse the frame, fittings, and fabric with fresh water after use, especially after saltwater exposure, to help maintain the finish and reduce corrosion risk.
It is best to let the canopy dry before long-term storage. Storing it wet may encourage mould, mildew, or odours.
Keep the canopy clean, allow it to dry fully before storage, and store it in a ventilated area when possible.
You can leave it installed, but folding it down or using the storage boot when not in use helps protect the fabric and frame from unnecessary exposure.
Installation is straightforward for most boat owners and usually takes around 1 to 2 hours with basic tools such as a cordless drill, screwdriver, and tape measure.
Yes. The quick-release thumb screws allow you to lay the Bimini Top flat or remove it when needed.
Yes. The Bimini Top includes adjustable front straps and rear support poles for stability and everyday use.
The Bimini Top can be used upright at speeds up to 40 knots when installed correctly and properly secured. Always check that all straps, fittings, and support poles are tightened before driving, and fold the Bimini Top down in rough conditions or when trailering.
A Bimini Top is designed for shade and general boating comfort. For high-speed travel, rough conditions, towing, or trailering, fold it down and secure it properly.
The product includes the canopy, anodised aluminium frame, fittings, adjustable straps, rear support poles, and a matching storage boot.
The standard fittings are included, but the exact fasteners required can depend on your boat’s mounting surface.
Check your mounting width, desired canopy height, available deck or gunwale space, and preferred colour before placing your order.
You have 30 days to return an item from the date you received it. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, in the original packaging. Measure carefully before ordering to reduce the chance of choosing the wrong size.
We offer Australia‑wide delivery for bimini tops, with the exception of PO Boxes, Parcel Collection and offshore islands.
